Outstanding Educational Program | Queer Conversations 2022
The Queer and Trans Outreach Center is a student-run organization at SUNY Oswego that provides peer-to-peer and student-to-faculty LGBTQ education and advocacy dedicated to creating a safer campus community.
Queer Conversations, an event for faculty and students to discuss their experiences around labels, identity and stereotyping won Outstanding Educational Program at the Student Life Awards in 2022. Using a “strongly agree/strongly disagree” format, the participants developed a more in depth understanding of their community.
